I am the wife of Robert and the mom of two kids Madeline and Robert. I am and attorney living in the northeast. I have my own practice which allows me the flexibility to be with my kids when they need me or just when I want to.

My kids are in a wonderful in home daycare while I work. I feel so blessed to not have to worry about them while I am at work. Our provider is like their third grandmother. We are very lucky.

My daughter Maddie is a leap baby so tomorrow is official her first birthday to people with a birthday every year it would be their fourth birthday. We are glow bowling with some of Maddie's school friends and our family on Saturday. I am so looking forward to her having a wonderful time with all her little friends.

The kids have been so sick this winter. We were home two days this week. We had colds (maybe even the flu), pink eye and sinus infections all shared among the family. The only healthy one is Bob (Dad not kid). Lucky him.

Tomorrow I'll take a moment to document Maddie's birth story. What a surprise she was.... She's been surprising us every day since.
